N THE BACKGROUND OF YOUR MIND KEEP THE THOUGHT: “Light is there, Light is in
me.” Each time you remember the Light you get some energy. Remembrance gives
a very great shakti, in the same way that we repeat a mantra to keep the
memory sharp. Gradually as we keep remembering the Light, it reveals. When
the Light shines, you will find that it is nothing new. It was always
shining. You didn’t see it simply. When it naturally awakens in you, you
will see how true it is. That Light is in you, me, everyone. It could be
that this is the only difference between you and me: one has forgotten and
one has not. Otherwise we are the same Light. That is the whole basis of the
Guru and disciple relationship. Somebody has to show you, to remind you.
That is the Guru’s only job: to remind you.
EEP DOING IT. And one day, a fortunate moment, it will pop up. It’s not a
promise; it’s a fact. Under any circumstances of body, mind and vitality,
health, ill-health, old age, young age, whatever discrepancies may be, in
the back of your mind go on remembering, “Light is there.” If you can say,
“I am Light,” that is also okay, but it might baffle you sometimes in
attending to the daily chores until you get very advanced. And if you are
very fortunate, you won’t be able to function at that stage. But that’s too
far away. It’s a simple thing. Remembrance is called smaran in Sanskrit. In
daily chores we forget. Therefore forgetfulness is a real block. So revive
it! You are That. You are Light. It’s a fact. That’s the way to live a
Light-full life.

And when you are Light-full you will know what to do and how to regulate
your life. “Now, what will I do after I get Enlightened?” Don’t project what
you will do while you are still in ignorance. You are drawing a map in
darkness and don’t even know what you are sketching. You are in darkness and
on top of that you are designing the Enlightened life! Once you are
Enlightened, you will know perfectly what to do. When you know you
don’t plan. When you are ignorant you plan because you don’t know. Get there
first and see what it is. Maybe in the embrace of your Beloved you will
forget all planning.
Should we stop all planning then? As long as you are in darkness you have to
plan how to get out of it. And I am telling you the ways to get out of
darkness, giving you the methods—whether remembrance, discrimination or
right association. Planning is okay for the world, but you don’t plan for
Spirit. If you are Consciousness, you don’t need to plan. You will know what
to do or not to do. Probably you won’t even think about this question.
You’ll just do—spontaneous living, the way of Light. Our dimension changes
at that time. From the third dimension you come to the fourth or fifth
dimension. When you are fully conscious you are not living in this
three-dimensional world anymore. You live in Superconsciousness. You are all
Light.
